  • Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Manager and HR personnel on all personnel matters with an emphasis in benefits 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
  • Basic knowledge of principles and practices of HR
  • Knowledgeable in employee benefits and regulatory requirements
  • Working knowledge of State and Federal employment laws
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) required
  • Attentive to detail, able to effectively track multiple projects and activities
  • Able to build strong work relationships conducive to furthering the HR mission and corporate strategy
  • Payroll experience preferred
  • May be required to travel between local offices on occasion

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Assist in new hire orientation
  • Ensures the accuracy of all benefit enrollments into HRIS
  • Performs quality checks of benefits-related data
  • Reconciles the benefits statements
  • Performs payroll/benefit-related reconciliations
  • Conducts audits of various payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends any corrective action.
  • Processes and administers all leave-of absence request and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA
  • Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities
  • Responds to 401(k) inquires from managers and employee
  • Assists HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • 2 years experience in Human Resources
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in benefits administration 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Sedentary work, requiring lifting up to 10lbs
  • Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment
  • Inside, climate-controlled working conditions
