  • Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Manager and HR personnel on all personnel matters with an emphasis in policies and procedures

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
  • Basic knowledge of principles and practices of HR
  • Knowledgeable in employee benefits and regulatory requirements
  • Working knowledge of State and Federal employment laws
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) required
  • Attentive to detail, able to effectively track multiple projects and activities
  • Able to build strong work relationships conducive to furthering the HR mission and corporate strategy
  • Payroll experience preferred
  • May be required to travel between local offices on occasion

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Conducts and utilizes research regarding best practices to develop recommendations for policy and procedure updates
  • Partners with HR Manager to modify or create policies and procedures to ensure compliance and/or support process changes
  • Ensures all processes are in compliance with legislation, company policies,and regulatory standards
  • Develops a wide variety of written materials for the purpose of documentation
  • Assists HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • 2 years experience in Human Resources
  • Minimum of 1 year experience updating and/or managing HR policies and procedures
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Sedentary work, requiring lifting up to 10lbs
  • Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment
  • Inside, climate-controlled working conditions
